Cynthia Harriman
is the Director of Food and Nutrition Strategies for the Whole Grains Council. In her work for the Whole Grains Council and for its parent organization, Oldways, Harriman helps manufacturers create and market delicious whole grain products; helps consumers to find whole grain foods and understand their health benefits; and helps the media to write accurate, compelling stories about whole grains. In this role, she creates and executes new programs to bring more whole grains to homes, schools and restaurants. A graduate of Brown University, Harriman is the author of scores of national magazine articles and five books, including Take Your Kids to Europe (now in its seventh edition) and her most recent book, Good Eats: Quick and Easy Food for Busy College Students. |
