USDA Hosts Webinars for Nutritional Labeling

WASHINGTON—USDA’s Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) is holding a series of free webinars to provide guidance on the upcoming rule on nutrition labeling of single ingredient meat and poultry products and ground or chopped meat and poultry products that will take effect on Jan. 1, 2012.

The first webinar was held Sept. 14. The next webinar will be held Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. ET; subsequent webinars will be held on Nov. 8 and Dec. 13.
