PARIS—Once a year, designers and chocolatiers collaborate to create chocolate couture. The 17th annual Chocolate Fashion Show, held during the Salon du Chocolat, featured some 18 designs, including this Aztec-inspired  bustier dress designed by artist Willy G. for Cacao Barry, a premium chocolate brand of Barry Callebaut.

The dress, modeled by French singer Juliette Katz,  was crafted by master chocolatiers Philippe Bertrand and Ramon Morato from 10 kilos of dark chocolate coating  (Origine Saint Domingue, Cacao Barry, 70% cocoa), 10 kilos of extra-bitter dark chocolate coating (Guayaquil, Cacao Barry, 64% cocoa), and 200 vanilla and white-chocolate macaroons with the model’s initials painted on each piece. The dress required 30 hours to create.
