CHICAGO—What do people think about organically grown products, low-fat foods, allergen-free foods, probiotics and other foods and nutrients?
That answer may lie in survey results just released by the American Dietetic Association (ADA), “Nutrition and You: Trends 2011."
ADA has conducted eight such surveys since 1991, each time with the goal of measuring consumers’ attitudes, knowledge, beliefs and behaviors with regard to food and nutrition, as well as identifying trends and gaining a snapshot of how attitudes and behaviors have evolved over time.
