WASHINGTON—The National Restaurant Association, Share Our Strength, and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation are asking chefs and restaurateurs to join in on Restaurants for Relief-Haiti, an industry-wide initiative to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.
Here's how you can help:

Dedicate a day or week and donate a portion of sales to Restaurants for Relief-Haiti.

Pick an item from your menu and dedicate sales to Restaurants for Relief-Haiti.

Collect donations from your patrons or direct them to the online donation form at www.strength.org/haiti.

Encourage your employees to make individual donations to Restaurants for Relief-Haiti, and match them.
The deadline for donations is February 12, 2009.
