AUSTIN, Texas—The American Botanical Council launched CMT’s "Global Stevia Industry Perceptions Report 2009", a free-to-download paper, released in line with Stevia World Americas. Written by Dr. R Rajagopal the latest edition focuses on findings of the Global Stevia Industry Survey, which was conducted from Aug. 22, 2009 to Oct. 22, 2009, and participated by more than 300 stevia industry representatives from more than 70 countries. The report reveals key concerns in the sector, including after-taste issues, regulations and supply reliability, and stresses the importance of greater access to information on these key concerns.
In a follow up to Stevia World conferences in Shanghai and Frankfurt, CMT will be hosting Stevia World Americas on Feb. 25 to 26, 2010, to not only address the opportunities in the Americas, but present more in-depth insights on the issues outlined in the abovementioned survey report.
