FAIRFIELD, N.J.—Pisane, a new non-genetically modified (GMO) pea protein isolate from A&B Ingredients, is suited for ready-to-drink and nutritional beverages, and weight-control and sport food products.
“Pisane is designed for use as a single source or in combination with other protein sources in a wide array of food and beverage products,” states Gil Bakal, A&B Ingredients Managing Director.
Pisane has an 80% solubility level at neutral pH and contains 88% to 90% protein. It is also highly digestible (98%), gluten free and exhibits low allergens.
The pea protein will not impact color, flavor or texture of the finished product.
