HAMBURG, Germany—A systematic review of literature on morbidity and mortality risks in overweight/obesity revealed overall mortality is unchanged by overweight, but increased by 20 percent by obesity, while extreme obesity raises it by up to 200 percent. Further, the review revealed, as people grow older, obesity makes less and less difference.
