Burcon Receives Three Patent Allowances

VANCOUVER, British Columbia—Burcon NutraScience Corporation announced it has received notices of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office for three separate patent applications. Two of the three allowances relate to patent applications covering processes for the production of  Puratein® canola protein isolate and Supertein™ canola protein isolate. The third allowance relates to a patent application covering an extraction procedure for the preparation of a highly refined Supertein™ canola protein isolate.
