Naturex Revenue, Income Up in First Half 2009

AVIGNON, France— Naturex released its financials for the first six months of 2009, with revenue up and operating margin steady. The company’s revenues hit €54.4 million, up 13.0 percent year-on-year. Moves by Naturex to streamline operations and improve costs netted improvements in operating income (€7.6 million) for the period, and consolidated net earnings of €4.4 million—an increase of 52.3 percent compared to €2.9 million in the comparable 2008 period. For 2009 and like-for-like, Naturex confirmed its revenue growth target of between 5 percent and 10 percent, at constant exchange rates, for an operating margin of between 12 percent and 13 percent of revenue.
