LOS BANOS, Philippines—A recent article in Rice Today examined two new lines of drought-resistant rice and their improved productivity in drought-prone regions of India and the Philippines, as well as other research the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) and its collaborators are doing to curb the devastating effects of drought.
