FRESNO, Calif.—USA Today reported that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a report that stated Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Calif. received results in October 2008 showing some of its roasted nuts tested positive for Salmonella. Furthermore, the failed to implement proper safety processing measures and continued to ship product for another six months.
