Kemin's Lutein Get GRAS Expansion

LAS VEGAS—Kemin's FloraGLO Crystalline Lutein has been self-affirmed as GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) for new applications and higher inclusion levels. This self-affirmation significantly expands the levels of use and food applications from those that were the subject of an earlier GRAS notification made by Kemin to the Food and Drug Administration without Agency objection.
