NEW YORK─Trans fat may be linked to an increased risk of fetal death during pregnancy, a new study found. Researchers found a 30 percent fetal loss rate among women with the lowest intake of trans fat and a 52 percent loss among women with the highest intake of trans fat. “As the percent of calories from trans fat increased, so did the risk of having one or more fetal losses,” Reuters reported.
