LILLE, France─Tate & Lyle opened its new Health and Wellness Innovation Centre in Villeneuve d’Ascq, near Lille, France, on September 18.
The state-of-the-art facility will focus on developing new ingredients for weight management, digestive health, vitality and healthy aging, as well as the development of new applications for the company's functional food ingredients, including texturants, sweeteners and ENRICH™. The Centre will also lead Tate & Lyle’s European fiber platform and will specialize in application and development work for SPLENDA® sucralose and CORE™ ingredient solutions, chiefly in the areas of beverages, dairy, bakery and convenience food.
