PARMA, Italy—European children who consume large amounts of products with high levels of milk powder could be ingesting levels of melamine three times above EU safety limits, the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) said September 25. However, children who do not consume such products (milk toffee, confectionery sugar and biscuits) in excess do not intake such levels.
