Referring to snacking as the “fourth meal of the day,” The NPD Group reveals U.S. snacking habits in a new report, “Snacking in America 2008.”
Although snacking has declined for consumers ages 18 to 34, consumption is growin in the 6 to 12 age group, with overall consumption expected to rise by 14 percent by 2017.
