HONG KONG─Nestle recalled UHT pure milk products September 22 in Hong Kong after a small amount of melamine was found in samples of the product.

Nestle reported that the product is not sold directly to the public and is only distributed to catering and other commercial organizations in Hong Kong.

The product does not pose a health risk. Nestle has recalled the product in compliance with a request from Hong Kong’s Centre for Food Safety.

No other Nestle products were found to be contaminated.
