MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. — Campbell Soup Co. will now cater to label-conscious shoppers, as it will add asterisks and explanatory footnotes on Select Harvest soup labels to help consumers decipher what’s really in the food they are eating, the Associated Press reported. In addition to simplifying labels, Campbell’s also cut out artificial flavors, high-fructose corn syrup and MSG from the 44 new soups.
