Virgo Publishing, Phoenix, announced details for SupplySide East, April 28 to 30, Meadowlands Exposition Center, Secaucus, NJ. In addition to added exhibit space in the expo hall, SupplySide East will feature a three-day education program, a VendorWorks seminar program and four networking events.

Highlights include:

Three-Day Education Program
Speakers from Council for Responsible Nutrition, Drexel University, Informed-Choice, Innova Market Insights, Laval University, The Natural Marketing Institute, Ullman, Shapiro & Ullman, University of Colorado Denver & Health Sciences Center, and many other leading organizations will present in the three-day education program, sponsored by EPAX.

Half-Day Workshop
The Natural Marketing Institute’s Steve French, MBA, and Gregory Stephens, RD, will present “The Effect of Metabolic Syndrome on Today’s U.S. Population: Capitalizing on Trends” Workshop on Monday, April 28 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Medical conditions that comprise metabolic syndrome, the integration of therapies consumers are using, the implications of these trends relative to dietary supplement and functional food usage and opportunities will be discussed. Additional registration is required.

VendorWorks Presentations
Two days of product-specific science, formulation and marketing will be addressed in exhibitor-sponsored VendorWorks Presentations on Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30.

Science at SupplySide Poster Presentations
New product, ingredient and technology research will be displayed in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, April 29, and Wednesday, April 30. Company representatives will be available April 30 from 1 to 2 p.m. to answer questions.

Several additional events offer continued networking. The SupplySide East Golf Classic, co-sponsored by Marco HI-TECH and INSIDER, will be held on Monday, April 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a members-only private golf course, the Green Brook Country Club. Event participants will gather for the SupplySide Happy Hour on Monday, April 28, from 4 to 5  p.m. The Opening Reception, Tuesday, April 29, co-sponsored by Kemin’s Welcose and Food Product Design, will be held in the exhibit hall during the last hour and a half of exhibit hall hours, 4 to 5:30 p.m. The Appreciation Reception, sponsored by Albion and inside cosmeceuticals, will be held on the exhibit floor from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30.
