PHOENIX—Virgo Publishing announced Somlynn Rorie, previously online education specialist, will be the online education manager for the Health & Nutrition Division’s eight publications, the group’s online Web site initiatives, as well as three online education portals. Rorie will manage all Webinars, customized online projects and spearhead new online training programs.
“Somlynn has been invaluable in the development of key online initiatives such as Web site redesigns and new program implementation,” says Peggy Jackson, director of publishing for Virgo Publishing’s Health & Nutrition Division. “Her expertise has added to our group’s myriad online offerings and has given our advertisers even more marketing opportunities.”
Rorie worked at Virgo Publishing as a managing editor in the Health & Nutrition Division from February 1998 to November 2001. She returned in March 2006 as an online education specialist.
