It's All About Commitment
It is now coming up on the fourth anniversary of Virgo Publishing's acquisition of Food Product Design magazine. I remember very vividly sitting across the table from Virgo's President/CEO Jenny Bolton in October 2005 as we prepared to sign what seemed like several hundred pages that would seal the deal. I also distinctly remember that my belief in Jenny and Virgo's commitment to grow the Food Product Design franchise, especially in the area of online and electronic media, gave me confidence that I was doing the right thing in selling the magazine I launched in 1991 to Jenny and her company.
History has shown that my confidence was well placed as Jenny and Virgo have time after time in the past four years invested and reinvested in FPD's online and electronic media capabilities. The latest example can be seen at www.foodproductdesign.com with our just relaunched website.
