Timely Kids' Nutrition Insight
From school foodservice to the kids’ menu at America’s restaurants and retail products targeted toward a youthful demographic, nutrition is firmly top-of-mind these days. School foodservice is particularly hot of late as first lady Michelle Obama—and the Obama administration in general—continues to work toward real institutional changes in that arena via the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act, which recently passed the Senate, and the Chefs Move to Schools program, among other initiatives.
