DSM Nutritional Products launched a new grade of micronutrient blends formulated specifically for the infant nutrition market. Introduced in response to recent industry developments and stricter regulations, the standard guarantees the microbiological purity of DSM’s ingredients. As a result, baby food manufacturers can be sure that the blends they receive meet the highest requirements for quality, traceability and reliability, and comply with stringent regulatory demands.
DSM has tightened its microbiological purity specifications for Enterobacteria (including Enterobacter sakazakii), Salmonella and Bacillus cerus. New tests and levels for specific contaminants have also been applied.
